Thanks to the reflections done during the latest years, Agorà dei Giovani del Mediterraneo is turning from an event into a project: a year-long path, with a moment of great significance in the Agora event, always taking place in September at the Giovanni Paolo II Youth Centre in Loreto (Italy).

Agora dei Giovani del Mediterraneo aims at:

• establishing significant and long-lasting relationships among Catholic young people coming from Mediterranean Countries (in view of creating a dialogue with young people of other confessions and religions);
• stimulating an exchange of information and experiences among the youth of the Countries involved;
• stimulating a cultural, social and political sensibility in young people, directed towards a mutual help of all the Churches in Mediterranean Countries;
• stimulating a responsible and informed reflection on the importance of the common Christian roots for the establishment of the European union and its role in the Mediterranean Countries.
